Insurance Coverage & Payment Options at River Ranch Recovery
Understanding your insurance options shouldn’t add stress to an already difficult time. As a growing addiction treatment center in Paris, Tennessee, River Ranch Recovery is actively building in-network partnerships with major insurance providers so more families can access our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at an in-network rate.
While several of these agreements are still in progress, River Ranch Recovery already accepts out-of-network benefits from most major insurance plans, which means treatment may be more affordable than you expect. Below, we explain how insurance works for addiction treatment, which providers we’re currently working with, and how our admissions team can help you verify your benefits in minutes.
In-Network vs. Out-of-Network Benefits: What's the Difference?
“In-network” means a treatment center has a direct contract with an insurance company at a pre-negotiated rate.
“Out-of-network” simply means that contract isn’t in place yet — it does not mean your insurance won’t help pay for care.
Most PPO plans, and many POS plans, include out-of-network benefits that reimburse a meaningful portion of treatment costs, whether or not a facility is in-network. In some cases, we can also request a single case agreement with your insurer, which allows your plan to cover treatment at River Ranch Recovery at a rate closer to in-network coverage.
The only way to know what your specific plan allows is a free, no-obligation benefits check, which our admissions team is happy to complete for you.
Insurance Providers We’re Working With
River Ranch Recovery is a newer facility, and we are actively pursuing in-network status with the following insurance companies. Even before these agreements are finalized, our team can help you use your out-of-network benefits to begin treatment now:
- Optum / Optum Behavioral Health
- Aetna
- BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BlueCare)
- Humana Military (TRICARE East Region)
- TRICARE
We update this page as each of these agreements is finalized. If your plan isn’t listed above, don’t assume you’re out of options — contact us to find out whether your out-of-network benefits apply.
A Note for Veterans and Military Families
River Ranch Recovery is currently completing certification for Optum’s VA Community Care Network (CCN), which, once finalized, will allow the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to refer veterans directly to our program for care.
We are also pursuing certification with Humana Military, a process that supports our subsequent application for TRICARE certification. Contact our admissions team for the most current status of these certifications and how they may apply to your care.
